^No, just no. WoW looks like garbage. Uncharted 1 looks better than WoW.

I don't think you understand the point I was trying to make.

I prefer the look of Crysis to compared to something like say: Killzone 2. However, something like HEAVY RAIN has a real-world look to it, and that's why it appeals more to me. |
From a technical standpoint both killzone 2 and uncharted 2 beats out crysis in some areas.
Animation wise and Particle effects killzone 2 goes above.
Animations in uncharted is on a whole other level though and polygon detail on chars in uncharted 2 is a lot higher than in crysis.
Other than that, carry on.
Crysis is so good looking that Crysis picds posted in Forums look better then Crysis itself.
Even that one vido before release everyone uses for crysis looks beter then crysis lmao
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st ![]()

They're all made on PC, then ported to consoles, so It doesn't matter if they were released on consoles first or not. They do it because it's cheaper. I can definitely bet you that atleast FFXIII and will come to PC. Hell, Nvidia even announced it in their own website (it was removed moments after). My guess is they already have some sort of deal with Nvidia for it.

I know they're all made on PC, but they weren't made for PC. Big difference there.
And I really doubt FFXIII will be coming to PC, but if it is I'll pick that up instead of PS3.

I understand what you mean, but you're kind of exaggerating. WoW is graphically pretty simple; the lightning, player models, etc. are all simple. The only thing it could beat a new HD console game in is rendering resolution, but that's it.

crysis really doesnt have good graphics it has good settings that cover for its graphics, its the photorealism gimmick

You have to remember something though, Crysis does what it does WHILE being open-world. Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 far more linear, regardless of their advanced physics/animation & particle effects (Killzone 2) system. Don't get me wrong, I prefer Killzone 2 from a gameplay perspective, and prefer Uncharted 2 for it's art. But to say both of those are technically above Crysis is false, they aren't. |
how so is that

They are in the areas I said.. And how exacly is crysis open worlded ? I presume the game streams areas (Honestly I can't remember if it loads sections or just streams as you go) but it's not very open worlded. You might have two paths to one objective and it can give you the sense that it's openworlded.. but it's not.
Open worlded games are such as GTA, Oblivion and Far Cry 2 (though the quality of said title varies.. ps far cry 2 is a terrible game.. terrible.)
Crysis simply gives you one or two roads to choose from.. It's less open worlded than motorstorm: pacific rift.
