Speak for yourself. When you say everyone you include me... Which would be wrong in this case.

Im talkinh about the general PS3 fanbase here. I've always liked EG. ( except the fact that they give MGS 8)

Eurogamer is not biased at all but they give reviews that are not having the same stantards as pretty much all other reviewers which makes them unreliable. I couldn't care less if they would have gave Uncharted 2 an 8 or lower.

Funny you have forgottwn 9s for Uncharted , Resistance, LBP and Killzone 2. So what ? they dont like most JRPGs anyway. Resistance probably deserves 8 though. And anything less than 12 for MGS4 is a crime. As i said before.... if you're intersted - buy eyepet regardless of the reviews (its that kind of game)

lol But why wouldn't they like JRPGs if they pretend to be objective reviewers? That's exactly what I mean when I say they have different standards then other reviewers.

No, but it's far from my opinion...isn't that what matters?

I also hated the 7.9/10 IGN gave...

As much as I would like to see this game score high...I hate this logic. It's the same thing that happens from Wii fans when junk like Wii Music or Wii Fit don't score that high. "It accomplished what the dev wanted"....if that's the logic, every game should be a 10/10

Edit: Or even worse "This game wasn't made for the 'gamer' (whom I'm assuming you're calling him)" So what....because Gallop and Ride isn't made for the 'gamer', then to the people it *was* made for, it should be rated high?

- Sluggish loading times
- Vague directions/explanations for challenges. The reviewer had a difficult time beating challenges because of the lack of explanation. The game didn't tell him what he was doing wrong or how he needed to do it. If he's having problems with the challenges, imagine how a 7 year old will struggle with the game.
- Game gets repetitive after a while.
- There aren't many tricks your eyepet can learn, so "you're mostly doing stuff for the sake of doing stuff."
- Doing the tricks or playing the game is impressive in the first few days, but it's questionable after that. The game does look like it'll lose its charm pretty fast.
- Disappointing online functuality. No social interaction and not being able to send pictures or videos while in the game (other games can).

Score well justified.

Eurogamer isn't who I questioned though....

That's like me saying the score of Halo 3: ODST of 6/10 was justified because "X" website played it and said it was nothing more than an expansion pack. So in essence, how can he say it's justified if he's yet to play it? Basically, whether you think it or not, my question to Mirson is reasonable.

Him playing it has nothing to do with weather or not the score is justified (I have no idea why you even asked if he had played it ?)

Eurogamer gave a 6/10 with many reasons as to why it was and mirson thought they justified their score.......there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

He is saying that HE HIMSELF agrees with the score. How can he if he's yet to play it? Eurogamer has their reasons for thinking the game is average (once again, it isn't that hard to compute), and since they HAVE played it there's nothing to question there. But he has yet to play it, how can he know what's "justified" or not?

And going by my comparison, would it have been justified for me or anyone else who observed some of the ODST scores to consider them justified?

You honestly making ZERO sense right now , he took points out in the review that justified the score nothing more.
