I love the way that all of the aspects of a JRPG come together. The stat building, the cinematic battles, the great music, the varied movies (magic, techniques, etc.), the characters, and all the other aspects just seem to fit together perfectly. WRPGs are great too, but let's cut the bullshit and just admit that neither game is really roleplaying.
You're not an Imperial warrior.
You're not Commander Shepard.
And you're most certainly not a Level 60 Druid.
So yeah, stop pretending that roleplaying is so important to you. Most people play RPGs (of either kind) for the entertaining gameplay, stat building, the need for perfection (collecting every last treasure, beating every last side-quest), and the great atmosphere. This is found in both WRPGs and JRPGs, so I don't have a huge preference either way. Both are fun as hell. Some people need to stop being so biased and realizing that it's possible to enjoy more than one side of things.
