Forums - Nintendo - Should I introduce my sister to the Phoenix Wright games?

Backstory

Back in August, I got my 14 year old sister a DS Lite with Nintendogs and Mario Kart DS.  I was skeptical because she got a GBA SP from my parents in the past and got bored of it within 2 months.  At the same time, she got stuck in one game and she pretty much stopping after that.  Anyway..

It wasn't until recently that she told me that she got bored with her DS.  I immediately asked her why and she replied "the games are easy."  Her DS game pallete is fairly limited, only playing games like Nintendogs, The Sims and Left Brain/Right Brain.  I was wary of what to do next and It seems I came across a solution.

I was at Gamecrazy yesterday as they were having a liquidation sale,  The sale had started on Monday and most of the newer titles were transferred to their open stores.  Then I came across Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.  It was probably the best game left there so we left with it, among other titles.

Today, my little sister asked me "Is there a Apollo Justice 2?"  I didn't know what to tell her, and the Phoenix Wright games immediately came to mind..

Question

Should I introduce her to the Phoenix Wright games?  I never played Apollo Justice so I don't know the difference between Nick's story and Apollo's.  Would it be a hard transition?

Help..

On behalf of the members,

Is she hot?

On a serious note, it might not work for 14 yrs old.

Start with the Phoenix Wright games, they're pretty much better than Apollo Justice. Apollo Justice isn't really a bad game though...but I don't really see it getting a sequel any time soon. 14 years old doesn't sound like a bad age for people to get into the games. I think one of my friends got into PW when he was 14 or 15.

YEAH!

Introduce it to everyone

your mum, doggie & so on!

Given that she likes Apollo Justice, yes. Just let her know that Apollo was the fourth game in the series, and that the first three are something she can play.

The nice thing about AJ is she isn't spoiled to anything in the PW games.

Be an awesome brother and give her PW and Professor layton.

What kind of a silly question is that, YES!

I missed that part.

Did she play Apollo Justice and liked it? If so, definitely would like the Phoenix Wright games. Apollo Justice is technically a 4th installment.

As for you, if you like storyline dectective-ish game, try Lux-Pain. It's dark and sad. Translation seems to have a lot of mistakes but nothing to make the game broken. They kept switching between first and last name and take a while to pick up with the Japanese-ish names to kick in.

I see.

@Cheebee I love asking silly questions, leave me alone.

@Lost I can't afford Layton and PW.. I have the first 2 PW games though.
