sony and nintendo did they move to boost they consoles sales(ps3 slim and price cut)but what about microsoft,what they gonna do for 360 sales?

They cut the 360 elite to $299 and bundled it with 2 games.

...they also might cut it down another $50 in a few months. Other than that, they're putting their efforts on Natal.

They will market Forza 3 like they did with Halo 3

they can, depending at which point they want to outsell the PS3 this holidays season :

drop the price
market FM3 as hell
market FM3/CoD6 bundle as hell

At the end, even without these moves, Xbox360 will STILL keep selling good but may finish third of the holidays season.

In case OP hasn't noticed; they have boosted the sales fairly well as of late.

But i think a price cut would help alot, oh and marketing.

They don't need a price drop they just need to wait for Natal.

I think at the moment Microsoft are playing a wait and see. They are waiting to see how the changes they have made pan out and how the Slim bottoms out (a cheaper Wii also needs now to be factored in as well).

It is also worth noting that they have a number of things they will be plugging this winter. For the UK at least they will plug the hell out of the Sky integration (Expect other European services at some future date) the new social aspects (Facebook/Twitter and Last FM make for easy adverts) and of course the instant on HD movies.

If these do not make any real inroad then they still have potential to cut further. Next year belongs to the Natal hardware wise and so need to think about how that get bundles before cutting to much from the current range but they still have options.

they did make a move, they cut the Elite's price to $299 & it helped too
