Football I'd rather play in a video game. I play sports 3x a week, and I find football just too taxing. Adding it in would require me to play other sports less often. (and since sports take up the bulk of my recreation, risking an injury just doesn't worth it)

Baseball, I'd rather not play, ever. It's so boring, I don't understand how it's so popular. It's bad to play in a video game, even worse to play in person.

Basketball, I'm 50/50 on. I enjoy playing it and playing video games about it equally.

However, the main sports I play (Ultimate Frisbee, Tennis, Volleyball) I'd rather play in real life, hands down(has there even been an ultimate frisbee video game?).

I definitely would want to play any sport in real life. But if I want to enjoy a video game, I want to actually play a video game, and not pretend to go through the motion of playing the sport...in which case I would just go outside and really go through the motions of playing the sport...by playing the sport (Looks at Wii Sports)

Real life. With the exception of Rugby. I hate it in both real life and games, but I hate it more in real life.

mostly real life but after a long day would prefer videogames.

Cricket why should be Cricket one of the biggest Sports in the world. I dont even know a single person playing this Sport. I even never saw it on TV and 5 minutes ago I thought it was Crocket until I googled it. Where on this planet they play Cricket except the old english colonies and Britan itself. Ofcourse thats a big population mainly because of India is Cricket really so important in India ?

If yes then maybe its really one of the biggest Sports in the world but wouldnt come Ping Pong/Tabletennis on second Place because Tabletennis is really big in China and not only there its pretty much everywhere known ofcourse its not really big in most places but its big in China and played in really wide areas so it maybe one of the biggest Sports.

The problem with the most favoriste Sport is that its pretty hard to count. First is it the money or the Attention or the number of people of playing it all over the world. In terms of global Attention/money/number of people which plays it I would say:

Football and then its hard to count and which rules should apply ? Its pretty much divided between: Tennis Icehockey Basketball Baseball. on second place would come Formula 1 but thats Motorsports.

OT:

I prefer Sports which you do alone like Snowboarding Diving Skiing etc

But I literally hate Sportsgames, even most of my friends love them so I would always prefer playing them in real life.

The main reason I guess why the people play Videogame sports is that they dont have always the oppurtunity and the time to play real sports.

hmm... probably not if it's 1 on 1... But I didn't know that, I'll have to try it.

real life, nothing like kicking someone in the shins in real football and watching them fall to the ground

Videogame because then I have a chance of actually doing well.
