these types of games (Bullet Hell) are trial and error type, you just have to be patient and focus on your ship instead of the surrondings.

they get extremely boring after awhile though..

Yeah, I would get bored in the 1/100th of the time they took to beat that boss. :(

Bullet Hells do involve loads of memorization and luck. It will get boring but the feat is still damn impressive.
