Forums - Nintendo - Wii will not reach 50% marketshare till 2011

This week PS360 combined outsold the Wii now this would not be a big deal if it was not the week the Wii got a price cut.

 

I think the effect of the Wii price cut will start lower and then slowly go back down ending up at about 200k sales a week (not counting holiday season)

 

I think the Wii will not outsell PS360 combined for a long time now and it might even never reach 50% market share..

 

let the speculation begin!!!

I have to agree. 50% will not happen anytime soon. But we'll during 2010 when the wii comes with a bunch of games...

Yeah, it does look like Nintendo lost the initiative on that one. Interesting to see the first generation where the winning console didn't have more than half the market

As long as Wii doesn't drop below 30% marketshare I'm happy.

i don't think it will dropped the ball-
sony especially a crazy 2010.

it still have a chance but it would have sell better DS now in 2011

I wasn't saying it'll reach it by 2011 I'm szying it'll reach it in the distant future. Maybe by 2012? Also how many of those games are system sellers?
