Forums - Nintendo - Seems people care about the Wii price cut.

@OP

Totally agree you on one point; if Nintendo hadn't been so stupid to lead the holiday period with crap like Animal Crossing and Wii Music, the system wouldn't have lost this much steam, its sales wouldn't have dropped this much and such price-cut could have been postponed.

I'm laughing at the Invisible Walls guys myself.

Why? What did they say about this?

After the PS3 slim and price drop were officially announced, The Invisible Walls Sony douche basically went on a rant against the Wii and said that he hopes that every Wii owner will now pick up a "real" gaming system, aka the PS3.  But it wasn't just him... that Invisible Walls episode was basically a 30 minute PS3 infomercial... every commentator was having orgasms about the PS3 slim and Uncharted 2 lol!

What are you talking about? So when they went on about the wii, or 360, it wasn't a infomercial? They are a gaming show, and each episode they focus on one or more things. This time they got to play Uncharted beta, and were talking about it, and also annoucement of the PS3 slim of course the episode would be about basically the biggest annoucement of the year. They were even making fun of Sony that episode, because they leak stuff to easy, also the fact that they critized the look, some said they liked it others didn't. Also hell, the WII is fun, but only if you are using classic controller or GC controller personally. Never tryed motion plus yet, but normal motion is pretty bad, except for the conduit of course and metroid prime 3 :3. PS3 and 360 are still dedicated for hardcore, so they are the "real" gaming machines, if you want to put it that way.

I haven't seen that IGN article before. Did that guy seriously just write off Brawl and Punch Out? Is that an editor or a regular douche with a blog that things people care about his opinions?

Price drops will always boost sales. There is no arguing against that really.

That guy says he's an editor for the site.

Please never lump Animal Crossing in with Wii Music ever again.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

They were sold around the same time, and regardless of what you feel about them, they only had the appeal to become hit games, not system selling mega hits (although they ironically still sold better than some of the "hardcore" games around that time).

Indeed, but he said 'Crap like Animal Crossing and Wii Music.'  Animal Crossing is awesome.

I meant the Wii version, not the whole series!!! I was just too bored to write all this "Let's go to the city" crap

Animal Crossing Wii is the DS version with some more stuff...the developers could do really a better work, but I assume they needed a game to launch that time, so they couldn't do much.

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)
