Mirror´s edge should be at number 2 and COD 4 is excellent, but NOT an innovating game. LBP at number one seems ok.
I'm sorry, but the only significant hardcore innovation this generation is cross game achievements.
And it's pretty much the only thing the PC has ever copied from the consoles. Even WoW has achievements now....
To be clear:

Cross game achievements.

No, I refuse to believe these are the greatest innovations this gen. Wasn't the cover system an innovation of this gen? If so, I think it beats all of those.
