GTA is a bigger brand then GT, if it cant pass the 10 million mark what makes GT able to pass that mark...

Only 1 GTA game has beaten the HIGHEST selling GT game

GTA:SA -- 17 Million

GT3 -- 15 Million

@ atma, you are clearly biased like I said in an earlier post, your ego and nintendo sales are correlated and therefore it won't allow you to talk to other user without feeling superior. You clearly have a life that you spend so much energy to prove your points about why you hate the ps3 and why it will fail... yes, I'm sure your social life on the mii channels counts.

Back to topic: psp gt is doing decent for a psp game, though I'd probably wait for gt5 on ps3.

tobe honest i find this numbers really bad, 200k for a gran turismo game is not good

Your entiled to your opinion my friend, but if you check the charts, you will notice that not one GT game has sold less than 10 million.  The GT series is exclusive to Sony so if you want to play it you only have one choice and that is a Sony system.  Now GTportable is harder to figure because well it just released and remember GT games are known for having 'wonderful' legs-so I would guess that maybe it will be the  only full game that will not sell 10 million.  But GT5 is going to do 10 million in my opinion.

Not one gt game has sold below 10 mill, on the ps2. Gt5 prologue is at 3 million. Ps3 has less than a third the ps2 userbase. Its just not going to happen.

GTprologue is 'not' a full game and all GT full games have sold 10 million +. Like I said only game so far I think will not reach that is the portable version, but I could be wrong.  The userbase has nothing to do with it, GT1 sold very high with less userbase than ps3 had in it's third year, check the charts because I am pretty sure that ps3 is higher in its third year than the ps1 was.

I don't feel I'm trashing a company/console like you said. I'm just completely tired of the bad faith of some PS3 fans here. If you want a thread where 100% of the users are delusionnal and/or always praising bad numbers then you should start your own site and it will be boring btw. I know some of you will never start a thread about how good did a Wii or DS game. FIFA Soccer 10 (PS3) did excellent numbers this week, why not praise its sales instead if you absolutely want to praise a Sony game? Sorry but imo GT:PSP numbers werent good at all.

I'm just representing the silent majority (yes those who bought the Wii...).

So THAT'S it, you think nobody cares about other games if there are Sony fans. Well, that's a generalization, something I don't favor. Tell you what, YOU praise the games YOU like. Don't concern yourself with everybody else, it doesn't get you anywhere. I understand you have a preference, but this is a thread about a Sony game. Why don't you start a thread praising Nintendo stuff, I'll happily join in as I'm a Nintendo fan as well.

Do you deliberately ignore my point? I thought it will be easy to understand. Threads arent only for cheerleading a game/console/op. If people doesnt agree with the op they should be able to share their thought even if it can be perceived negatively and people should respect it. I saw a lot of bad faith in that thread and that's why I gave my point of view on this topic. Now if you don't like it, sorry but it still what I'm thinking.
