All browsers crash occasionally, and Firefox was never an exception. Perhaps once a month, it would hang, and then crash. That's fine.
Lately, however, in the last few weeks, it's been getting much worse. Firefox seems to be crashing at least once a day.
First it says something about memory limits (Firefox is currently using 137 MB RAM, with 5 tabs), then some of the toolbar buttons disappear and colours in the main bar go all strange, then I exit. It crashes if I don't, so I just want to speed it up. I then re-open Firefox. The Crash Reporter comes up, and I report the crash. The Restore Session tab opens, and I restore my previous tabs. It's just about a minute of inconvenience, but it's an inconvenience all the same.
Am I the only one this is happening to, or is it a widespread problem? And no, I'm not changing browsers. Firefox could crash once an hour and I couldn't consider losing its benefits and switching to Chrome or (ugh) IE.
