Who the hell games with 20 other people? And if you do have a bunch of idiots over they are probably having fun doing stupid stuff... I want to see how "creative" 10 drunks can get with that paint thing

That video is utterly hilarious!
Could they at least do those videos with someone who has a bit of body control?

That's not really proping your hands though that's holding your arms out with extra weight added to it.
I said camera based games had potential back when I first played them over 15 years ago at Disney World :P still I've yet to see a game do more than essentially what I saw all those years ago, instead of swatting various bugs away you're swatting a ball. The 3D camera like Natal can do more but you really need to use this technology in conjunction with something else, cause one fatal flaw in the system is not being able to take an adventure game and accurately control your movement, maybe with a DDR pad you could though but that's pushing things a bit.

The best use of Natal that I can think of that would interest me alot, is if they make a virtual club. Where they convert my body movements into a hot chick's body. When I move my hips and wiggle, she does the same. When I jump, she jumps and jiggles.
I really don't understand the hype, it looks very laggy judging from everything I have seen so far. Steering in mid air like that feels unrealistic and will strain the body in a very short period of time, if this becomes popular I expect many new patients.
Waving your hands for navigation is of course based on other very similar implementations, products already on the market.
To me it does not look different enough compared to the good old eyetoy, more like an eyetoy+ instead of a major breakthrough technology.
Then of course there's Milo, which was a faked demonstration... The US must really love Microsoft to overhype this so much...
well one things for sure. this is definatly not bad news. (unless your a fanboy)

I know it's hard to take in. But Natal is very different from anything on the market. Even Kojima thinks so. It's one thing to get praise, but it's another thing to get praise from every single person who has tried it. None of us have played it, so how can we comment? Natal will be big, no denying it. M$ may have found their way to print money.
@ selnor
I think future events will be similar as with regard to what happened with XNE. That was hyped much as well, but in the end most people (even from the US) actually prefer the XMB.

I think people who will own both Sony wands and Natal in the end probably prefer Sony's solution for ease of use, implementation and functionality.
I also preferred the old blades menus the XBox 360 had originally, a quote from me (2007): "Regarding the interface the Xbox 360 sports a very colorful easy to use user interface"

Let's see a source to back that up, because it sounds like a bunch of bs to me.
