I really don't understand the hype, it looks very laggy judging from everything I have seen so far. Steering in mid air like that feels unrealistic and will strain the body in a very short period of time, if this becomes popular I expect many new patients.
Waving your hands for navigation is of course based on other very similar implementations, products already on the market.
To me it does not look different enough compared to the good old eyetoy, more like an eyetoy+ instead of a major breakthrough technology.
Then of course there's Milo, which was a faked demonstration... The US must really love Microsoft to overhype this so much...
