As far as AAA's are concerned the Wii may not be in another world, but it's cetianly not in the same league.

Seems like the 360 is already back on top in NA and probably has been for at least the last couple of weeks. I don't think the PS3 was able to gain enough momentum in NA to overcome the popularity of the 360 here. |
not according to vgchartz. 360 had an increase last week due to odst but the ps3 outsold it this week
those numbers are USA only for the guy thats saying "360 only 50k behind woots"
If it were worldwide...huuuuuugely different story...like...700-800k behind.
...uhh...ill just put my favorite quote of all time here.
"Welcome to Pain, the second of three...You have dealt the first...now deal with me!!"

Yes I realize that. It looks like VGchartz is a little over on the PS3 but that's normal after a big price drop and re-release. If the NPD data confirms the analysts expectations then we know that the 360 has been outsellling the Ps3 for the last two to three weeks. But will have to wait and see.

Oh yeah no question, my comments were just directed towards the Analysts predictions for NA.

Did you even look at this weeks hardware sales? Also guess what the analysts are using for there predictions.. it has nothing to do with NPD

Yeah of course I looked...and what are the analyst predictions based off of anyway?...seriously I don't know.
the ps3 WILL dominate in japan, the ps3 has a good chance at dominating in europe, the ps3 has NO chance of dominating in america!
oh and by the way im including the wii, if its betwen just the ps3 and 360 put it simple, the ps3 WILL dominate EVERYWHERE! i just dont see how it wont.
The thread title is wrong, it should begin with "Pachter:" instead of "Analyst:"
There is a big difference, you know... ;)

If by dominate you mean in second and third place, then yes it'll dominate
Also if you want to know why it wont dominate, here it is:

Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)
