What do you guy's think the odds for that are? I would say atleast 1 to 3 maybe even 50/50. Because by comparing the sales of both from the last couple of weeks with the ones from last year, 360 is about 25k-30k down and PS3 up 15k-20k week on week. Witch means X360 is not doing to well in the Others territory. Also PS3 sold 45k more in the region than 360 did last week, wich is over 50% more. And if that trend continues PS3 will have the better holiday season aswell. And the difference is only 1 million now

the PS3 new price is the sweet spot. and yes it will over take the other 2 consoles

PS3 should definately take over the 360 in others unless Microsoft does one more thing to prepare for this holiday season. Modern Warfare 2 bundled with the system, I think, is the one thing standing in the PS3's way at this point.

My guess is the PS3 should be able to do it anyway.

Looking at the holiday sales last year, the biggest gap X360 had over PS3 in one week was 50k, and that was in the week before christmas. And seeing PS3 gap was 45k last week, i think Microsoft might be in trouble.

I don't think there's much to stop that happening, the difference is exactly 1 million. It just has to outsell the 360 by 333,000 each month.
