Actually, 7 is about average (which is what I think Fallout 3 is even with my long list of gripes).

7
+Story's decent
+Good atmosphere
+Karma system
+Radio is really great, even if it's repetitive
-Graphics and animations could've been better
-Pretty much forced to use VATS, shooting is way too inacurate
-Shooting mechanics: bullet spread is way too high
-Enemies all look similar
-Mobile nuke launcher is a let down
-Glitches
Needless to say, I was really disappointed by this game. Teaches you not to buy into hype.

I really like the idea of a ranking game, but I think don't think you should have games that were released less than a month ago. (Dirt 2, Arkham Asylum, ODST) Not many people have played the game by that point and the people that have played it are probably rating it higher than they would in time because of the novelty factor.

Most wont' agree, but I didn't think this was near as good as Oblivian. I played the PS3 version, which seemed to have some graphical problems, the gameplay seemed clunky....just couldn't get into it. I did finally beat it then go after a few extra trophies, but I only played through it once and didn't make a new character/etc., like i figured I would.

I absolutely loved this game. That being said, technically, it is a failure. It's buggy as hell, the graphics suck and the textures look washed out. The level cap was maxed out a good bit before you can even finish all of the quests also. The atmosphere, and the world created though was nothing short of astonishing. It was also a good mix of rpg and shooting with a much larger emphasis on RPG unlike the upcoming borderlands which has a much larger emphasis on shooting.
Overall, I'd give it an 8.5

Yeah i'm staying away from newer releases now.

Great Story and Great World.
And there's amazing stuff outside the main quest like Agatha, Vaults 106 and 108, the Oasis and the Nuka-Cola "museum" to name a few of my favorites.
Also, roaming around the Wasteland killing mutants while listening to Galaxy News Radio has to be one of the best experiences in gaming.
