GT5P was released from day one as an officila PS3 bundle for over 6 months. Even with the bundle GT5P has sold 3.15 million and Forza 2 has sold 4 million. My point still stands Forza 2 was only officially bundled for 2 months. Thats it. Be interesting to know how many of GT5P sales were bundles. 1-1.5 million?

Cant guess PSN figures. No way is it 785,000. I reckon 100,000 at most. PSN downloads are low.

uh... PD had the PSN version at 600,000 last year ! In their annual report thing they said 4 million.

btw, the Japan bundle moved about 100k after it was released a long time after GT5P release. You cant show that bundling in the UK went on for 6 months.

GT5P sold equal to Forza 2. Forza 3 wont beat GT5P's 4 million sold.

Now, how about that bet ?

It wasnt just uk it was the whole of europe from release. I reckon GT5p sold around 1.75 million units without bundles. Unfortunately you cant say about a game having bundles because all get bundle at some point.

Have to go off actual sales. Of which I believe FM3 will do 5-6 million.

PLEASE stop being delusional. 1.75 million without bundles ? that leaves 2+ million bundled copies if you count PSN downloads in that 1.75 million.

10% of the entire PS3 consoles sold were GT5P bundles ? Yeah right. It hasnt even sold 2 million in Europe ! (assuming that a major part of those bundles sold were european)

If its 1.75 million with downloads, 1.4 million were bundles ? (again atleast 1.3 million of those have to be european.) Do you really think GT5P only sold 400k without bundles in EU ? 

Face it. GT5P (Disc based + PSN) > Forza 3 saleswise.

Now how about that bet ?

If you look at the data, Forza 2 was selling on par with Marvel: Ultimate Alliance when MS began bundling the two together with the Arcade 360. Sales were just under or above one million and then when the bundling stopped sales were over 2.5 million so going by that data alot of Forza's sales were from bundles.

Do you remember the shortages of the 40gb model that was ONLY available with GT5P in EU? It sold out almost instantly. And then the 2nd wave did to. That spike is completely down to EU launch. As of which I explained was the release of 40gn PS3 with GT5P bundle. 2nd spike is 80gb release in Japan with GT5P bundle.

My facts are straight. The 2nd spike is exactly when the relase of the GT5P bundle cam out in Japan. Both games were bundled. But GT5P was bundled from release in it's biggest market. EU. Sony did the same with GT3 A Spec in EU. It was released in a bundle. Forza 2 has spent less time bundled than GT5P has. I think GT5 sales not being that high is gonna shock alot of people.

Forza 2 was bundled almost with every Pro sku sold in America and Europe during 2007 holidays. GT5P was bundled with some PS3's during its launch in Europe. That is huge difference. I agree that GT5P was heavily bundled in Japan during 2008 holidays but it sold something like ~300k.
