oops wrong thread lol

I guess no one on the face of the Earth is going to get Forza 3 and GT5... Well, should I get Forza 3 (and I really don't want to because of the senseless attacks on GT5) I would simply create GT5/PLAYSTATION 3 logos to put on my cars in forza 3 to piss off the microsoft fanboys. It's so stupid to see people bash something I like.... Specificially speaking, seeing Rooms that say MvC2 sucks in BlazBlue online matches. I just avoid those rooms. You guys treat games, and systems like they're your damn family members. What's next? Hating people because they own both 360 and PS3?
But, I have an HDD, I didn't know there were people poor enough to have a 360 without an HDD to begin with..

Yeah, I could see you doing that - and get it deleted - and your account watched.
Feel free to waste your time doing that, like the guy did with the Nazi symbols on F2.
The point of this thread was a first-person experience about an unreleased game. And what I find even funnier is how folks are working overtime to diss, troll or talk about a game they don't plan to buy, haven't played and have no plans to play - while other folks, who are genuinely interested in the game, have to muddle through their waste of space.
I played the game - didn't install it because I wanted to see, for myself, if I would still have fun without the additional content. Not only did I still have fun, I didn't miss the extra content. That's it.

Man, the thread title says - 360 HDD not necessary to enjoy Forza 3. That's it. So what if there's a blob car. Who - besides you - cares? And if you aren't adding to the convo ... Are you motivated to stop folks from enjoying this game? Call it what you want, but your blob car post adds absolutely nothing to this thread. |
Say what? haha. The OP himself talked about the blob car as if it was something new, and spoke of it like a "in your face haters, they've taken care of your issues" - Where I responded that the Blob car has always been there. It was always ment to be there. And this is how Turn 10 said it would work. And i posted my quote. And that was that.
How is that "nothing to this thread" ? You crack me up.
How many cars will I miss out on? I have very little space on my memory card and I don't want to delete my content. (Im keeping my Mass Effect saves). Unlike those who only use some cars, I try to race with as many cars as possible.

I noticed like 6-7 Hondas (there are 24-25 plus) and maybe 2-3 other cars - like a Dodge PT Cruiser and a Dodge Stealth. Some, like the Buick, you won't be able to get the Grand National. When you rent the game, you'll only get one disc. I'd definitely recommend trying it.
The car variations and extra tracks are cool but this game still scores high without them.
What car are you interested in?
Yeah, what is the number of cars, and are there any tracks?
The only real thing that interests me will be if other developers follow suit. I won't be getting Forza 3 (I don't really care for these types of games, and GT 5 has the Top Gear test track), but if this becomes more commonplace, the capacity of the DVD might be an issue, but most games can just stick MP on a second disc
This really isn't much of an issue, pretty much everyone realises that, but it is still annoying from an arcade user's point of view to be excluded from some of the content, even if it is minor. And while you may see it as free day 1 DLC, all I think when that happens is; why not stick that on the disc!
Oh, and to directly answer the title, of course you can still have fun, you probably just have a little more fun if you had an HDD

Space is definitely an issue, Munkeh. As Matt stated in his post 104 cars, 29 tracks - but most are variations. The one missing the most is Honda.
I think for most games, the DVD-9 is good enough. Most games aren't done in 1080P and have room to expand. However, the second disc is used once to install the cars and tracks on the disc. I haven't seen anything saying they are required.
And the blob issue reminds me of the default car in Atari's Test Drive Unlimited. If you didn't download the car packs, you would often see this default car running around the island. The only way you could tell what kind of car it was if you got close enough to see the rims.
In the end, if a person is THAT concerned about a game that they a. can't afford to buy a HD and b. say 'That's a dealbreaker for me,' that's their pity party, not ours. I do not think most Arcade and Core owners - if any of them are still working - are that overly concerned or worried about missing a few cars out of the game.
