I think the essence of the thread is:
-Video game companies should be just video games
-Multifaceted companies that are also in the video game business are taking advantage of the 'traditional' gaming industry
-'Video game only' companies work too hard to keep themselves profitable/afloat just for some multi-billion dollar company to come in and pay everyone else to do what they're doing and just brand it their name at the end of the day

Change, that's just the nature of the business, like it or not.

Metacritic isn't objective? Its a compilation of subjective opinions, you can't just collect subjective opinions of a game and call it an objective measure of a game, all it becomes is a poll of a select sample, not even a true sample of the market as game reviewers tend not to be representative of the larger market

Wow Sony has 81 companies so they could release 20-40 exclusives every year if they put 2-3 years into each exclsuive.

All this tell me is sony really needs more ads.

No, my point is Wii games are extremely well recieved, moreso than the PS3 and 360 games
