I think the essence of the thread is:
-Video game companies should be just video games
-Multifaceted companies that are also in the video game business are taking advantage of the 'traditional' gaming industry
-'Video game only' companies work too hard to keep themselves profitable/afloat just for some multi-billion dollar company to come in and pay everyone else to do what they're doing and just brand it their name at the end of the day
Change, that's just the nature of the business, like it or not.
