I haven't played CoD4 on the PS3 but I also haven't heard of any major differences either so I'll assume that the same will be true for MW2.
I was wondering the same but i dont really care to be honest because i dont think i am going to get it at all this year. If i do it will be the pc version as always
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st ![]()
CoD is far more popular on 360, that's why they show it on 360.
Both versions will be identical in terms of graphics and smoothness.

I don't think this true. I can remember reading somewhere that 2 teams are working on each platform from the ground up.
It should be just fine for the PS3, I haven't heard of anyone complain about the PS3 version of Call Of Duty 4, so a sequel won't (hopefully) go backwards. As earlier posters said, it's just that X360 is the "lead console" or more recognized with the COD brand, and Microsoft has timed exclusives, and such with Infinity Ward...they want that stuff to sell.

Both CoD 4 and 5 were equal when it came to campaigns. The 360 had a slightly better graphics version but not noticeable.
It is the online part that really determines these games. CoD 4 and 5 both had much better online play on Xbox Live and I expect the same to be true of MW2. The reason is because on Xbox Live MS handles everything and it just works right in with MS's matchmaking system. On PSN Infinity Ward has to develop all that themselves and host any servers themselves. And I am speaking from experience with both PS3 and 360 versions of MW and WaW. The PS3 version was far laggier online and had more server/host disconnects.
So that would be the difference. If you have both consoles and value online play above all else, you should almost always get the 360 version, and I am willing to bet it will be the same with MW2 as well.
they will definitely be the same... but they should have shown the ps3 version

I haven't experienced any lag/disconnects while playing WaW on the PSN ever. I also don't see whats wrong with the matchmaking system on PSN, everything worked perfectly.
