A game focusing on painting and 'going back to Disneys roots' with Pixar cutscenes?  No one sees the irony?  Its like making an Astroboy movie entirely out of CG animation.....oh wait.

My point is, its sad that everything Disney has to do now adays is just default to CG animation.  Disney has forgotten what their 'roots' are.  Note, I'm not saying I hate Pixar.  I like their movies as well, and think they're better than most of the junk Disney has produced following Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (not counting The Emperors New Groove).  But a game based on Mickey and '1928 retro' and painting, etc....where does Pixar fit?

wow.....now just get nobuo uematsu to do the soundtrack & we have a DREAM TEAM!

Uematsu? I say Joe Hisaishi! THAT would be epic!

I can imagine a scene with Mickey starring over the dark, transformed world, and the "6th station" song from Spirited Away. Epic x 100.

Ultimate truth.  Joe Hisaishi is one of the true geniuses of our time and would make this game epic just from his music alone.  He's already doing it for the Level-5 game Ni no Kuni.

Ni no Kuni. Isn't that a DS game?

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

I have never been this excited for a game that I know so little about before.

I mean every piece of news released just sceams 'AWESOME' at me.

LOL, why didn't I think of that?

Yes it is.  An RPG being developed by Level-5 in cooperation with Ghibli Studios and music by Joe Hisaishi.  And so far, Japan only.

The best person to fit the theme of "Mickey" instead of off the wall Japanese composers how about we get some witch doctors to resurrect Richard Stone the man behind the music of every great american animation of the 90s (for Warner Brothers at least) he made the music for Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Freakazoid just to name a few.
