Forums - Nintendo - Muramasa: The Demon Blade (i know you guys are tired of hearing about it)

There are a few Wii game that I definetly want to get at some point but I'm just still waiting for the price to come down a little, as they are already coming down pretty quick at amazon. Muramasa, LKS, and Dawn of Discovery all are games that I am eying but these are games I just can't bring my self to spend 50 bucks on with my tight budget. 25-30 would be the point where I cave in and buy them, but for now I'm in no rush. Plus, I already to want to get the MP Trilogy as soon as possible so I only have so much to spend before my wallet cries.

Nowadays I usually only spend 50-60 on games that are either big budget games I know I'm going to like such as Gears 2, or major Nintendo franchises like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.

Muramasa didn't have a world wide release, is it yet?

It's set to release in EU in November.

Currently, Muramasa is performing better than Odin Sphere in NA and worse than it in Japan. I think it will turn out to be a modest success in the end.

For my part, I'll probably grab this game in the next month or so.

As terrible as it sounds, I am waiting for a price drop on this game because I know it'll probably happen soon.

All i can say is that i have the game and I love it death! :)

it's an action game no doubt about that, but with RPG elements. I would describe the gameplay as such: remember megaman games? well in this game both characters are Zero! only their moves are 100x better! the action is much more fluid and the game has many weapons each with it's own special attack, not to mention better art/graphics/presentation and a better story.

i would rate this game >>>>> any megamanx game (which has zero), but i still love megaman and i hope he can one day get the treatment he deserves from capcom.

so my question is, how much did megamanx games cost when they were new? cuz this game is a 2d action game like megaman, but it's muuuuch longer than any megaman game i've played, i think it's worth the price i paid :)

and @angrypoolman: we can never get tired of hearing about this fabulous game! I'm just glad people on these boards told others (like me) about it :D
