impressive.

i know, kirby 64 isnt that great of a game. i just want it and i want to beat it for collectors sake. i already have the cartridge too. same with yoshi's story. i was so pissed when that game was released. first time nintendo ever dissappointed me. |
Kirby 64! He turns into a fridge lol. That was pretty cool.
NINTENDO
nintendo forever . . .

I find ToeJam & Earl is great for the VC, because that game really needed the suspend feature. Or get the Last Ninja games on the Commodore 64 for their epic soundtracks. |
Yea, I have thought of getting games from other systems, but right now, I want to focus on Nintendo systems. The three big ones. I just have to have these classic games on my Wii. I will be getting other games later though.
If they release out of this world, I want to get it on the Super Nintendo. They better not release it on sega genesis like they did with Clayfighter! Your sig is just so epic. I'm sorry, whenever I see shots from Out of this World I feel something weird inside. That game changed my life. I can beat it in probably 30 minutes.

Oh hell yeah. I always love finding new fans of that game. The game just feels so "cinematic" but in the good way. They don't bog you down with cutscenes, you just get a few short and sweet ones spread about, and with no dialogue, no text, almost all gameplay, it tells a story. It's like playing an awesome silent movie. And the prisons and the tank and everything, whoa. Still blows my mind.
You are now my friend sir. Do whatever you gotta do with your VC. You know what you're doing.

God, I know exactly what you are talking about. My friend and I were stoned and bored and shit one day, and we always like looking at my massive game collection to look for a game to just trip out on, and I asked him if he had played Out of this World. Of course he hadn't, so we were playing it and beat it that same night.
Yes, there is definately a certain charm to that game. I still have to buy a copy of Flashback.
Your N64 library could use some beefing up... grab some Paper Mario if you don't already have the cart... best deal on the VC aside from Mario RPG and Secret of Mana for $8

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Why not buy games you never played? |
I pretty much have played everything on the NES, SNES, and N64 that is currently released on the VC. I will buy games that I haven't played when they show up and are considered 'classics'
once I have all those games, then I am going to start branching out and playing games that I haven't played on other systems. But for now, I have to have a focus.
^^^ For non-Nintendo systems, the TG-16 has a great library, especially the TurboCD games like Lords of Thunder and Ys: Books I and II... plus they go for a helluva lot more than $8 on eBay I can tell you that lol.
