i'm curious, how many of those did you already own on previous consoles? cuz most of my VC collection (as small as it is) is made up of games i already had.

Harvest Moon, Kirby's Adventure, Castlevania, and Kid Icarus are the only games one there that I don't have the carts for. Every other game I have a copy of with box and manual still in tact. Check out my photos for my collection. I havent updated it in months though, so I actually have a lot more than what is shown. But check it out if you're curious.

It's better having digital copies of your old games isn't, im really lazy so if it wasn't for VC i wouldn't be playing those old classics (imagine having to hook up your console every time you wanted to play a game on a different system) this way is MUCH better. plus no cartridge swapping either.

btw, your collection looks awsome, I'm so jealous! x_x

yes you do. I've been wondering this for the longest time though. Say I have a 4 GB Wii brand SD Card (i don't its a generic brand) and I have Wii Ware and VC games on it. Can I play the games directly off of the card?

Now i've experienced both situations. I had Phantasy Star IV on the SD card and it played directly from it (I may have also had it on the Wii at the same time) Then I downloaded NyxQuest directly to it and I couldn't play it even when I moved it to the Wii. (I could play it on the Wii, but not directly off the SD card)

You can play all games off the SD card since February. The part about NyxQuest concerns me, because it plays off my SD card flawlessly. Maybe you should redownload it? Something's definitely gone wrong.

yeah it was weird. I could only play the game off the Wii itself. I should get a new SD card and try again. (this is why i wanted a harddrive.)

hi smoked hostage! =]

should i buy another wii points card today? im thinking of beefing up my 64 collection.

I'd recommend getting F-Zero X and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards..

provided that you get another Nintendo Points Card.

That's probably what I was going to get. I was debating whether to get (f zero or waverace) and (kirby or paper mario).

Paper Mario is going to take some work, so I was going to save that for when I was ready to dedicate some time to it. Aside from those four, I still need Yoshi's Story and Sin and Punishment.

Actually kirby 64 isn't a game you'll return to every now and than.us You'll beat it.us It doesn't have good platforming.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

i know, kirby 64 isnt that great of a game. i just want it and i want to beat it for collectors sake. i already have the cartridge too. same with yoshi's story. i was so pissed when that game was released. first time nintendo ever dissappointed me.

I have 19 VC and 1 WW.

You should get River City Ransom, or something that's not on a Nintendo console, especially if those are mostly games you've previously owned. I find ToeJam & Earl is great for the VC, because that game really needed the suspend feature.

Or get the Last Ninja games on the Commodore 64 for their epic soundtracks.
