As much as I disagree with him giving it a 3/10 I can't keep him from scoring (unless he doesn't follow the rules, but he did follow them)

In the MGS4 thread we went over why just everyone's votes should count.  TBH I think he's voting down all these games on purpose in retaliation to the argument we had in that thread...

And the score is 8.86 (again making it score way lower than it actually should have)

I seriously don't get how some people are giving this such low scores... it is just depressing when a company crafts a game this good that some still call it crap

I always thought it was the other way round- CoD4 was thought to be exactly what a console FPS should be (and it is), and a ruler against which all other games should be measured.

Now people are criticising it for not having features that were in Killzone 2?

I just don't get it... the story is second to none. Who here was not devastated at the end, but now very happy thanks to a leak from a certain voice actor

I was happy about Captain Price, but Gaz is still dead.

Or is he... Now at first I thought "tis but a scratch", but then as much I brother was playing it through, Gaz was distinctly shot in the head... However, Craig Fairbass, his VA, is playing a character called Ghost in MW 2, who wears a mask. Now, just putting 2 and 2 together, maybe his face has been screwed up, so he wears a mask, and somehow they have saved Gaz. Yeah, it may not be realistic, but in the last game, a nuke went off, and this one Washington is invaded, and Gaz was so awesome, him staying dead would be a tragedy

Even if he is alive, though, he probably won't be playable. Price isn't, and neither is Soap.

EDIT: I didn't mean playable, I meant a companion. But Ghost does seem to be a companion. Hmmm.

They should have kept Soap as a playable character, high ranking or not. Do we take control of Americans as well?

- 60 FPS, quality graphics
- Solid online

Cons:

- 600p, I'd rather have them lower the polygon count than play in 600p.
- Too much aim assist

Sub-HD resolution (it wasn't even noticeable, the game looked better than most 720p FPS) and aim assist justify knocking off 20%?
