Atlus just released official sales numbers for last FY, and apparently Persona sold 160,000 in Japan, or 3+ times more than originally expected (50,000).

Well, now I really wouldn't be surprised if we see the next Persona on the PSP.

Agreed, if this relatively simple port managed to sell 160,000, just imagine how much Persona 5 could sell...

        Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (DS) - 110.000 (originally planned 100,000)



        Persona (PSP) - 160,000 (originally planned 50,000)



       Growlanser (PSP) - 50,000 (originally planned 40,000)







                                                                North America:







          Persona 4 (PS2) - 110,000 (originally planned 150,000)

Hmm, so P4 is way overtracked and it did worse than expected. Shame.
