Does Square-Eix say -- "FF13 looks BETTEr than Resonance of Fate"

EA -- "FIFA 10 pwns PES10 in features this year"

Take 2 -- "We feel GTA offers much more than Saints Row 2"

& so on?

epic had good things to say about uncharted 1's cover system when asked about its similarity to gears. why do turn 10 pinpoint the negatives and talk in an extremely arrogant tone ? you cant justify these guys.at all.

I have nothing against arrogance if it's justified, and in this case I think it is.



They should be more arrogant about FM3's perfect framerate though (steady 60 frames per second people !!).

i forgot to add that the reporters are partly to blame - in some instances. in some instances turn 10 are either drunk or pushed by MS to say this stuff.
gears is a bigger franchise than uncharted.
halo is a bigger franchise than resistance or killzone.
sony dont have exclusive wrpgs of the calibre of fable.
but gt is a much much bigger franchise than forza, making MS uncomfortable about loosing.

I've seen dev diarys with turn 10 and just out of know where they blast Gran Turismo. It's not only answering question when they blast Gran Turismo but in normal conversations. Do you see any Gran Turismo staff even mentiuoning Turn 10 or Forza? No and I think last year a Polyphoney staff member refused to answer a question like the one Turn 10 answered in this thread. I'll try find the video now.

respect you as a poster but seriously dont try to defend turn 10 you just look foolish. they are clearly talking out of their asses agaisnt the king of kings in racing sims and its going to bite them in the ass. The game is CLEARLY just an increment better than forza 2 and the only content they have over GT5 is the ability to customize the look of your car, and aparently GT5 will out do them in that as well.

This is all PR damage control, they know they are behind the ball and they need to spout as much nonsense as possible because their game doesn't speak for itself. Its pathetic. Forza 3 will be awesome, no doubt, but the amount of lunacy that has gotten into peoples heads to actually think that Polyphony Digital, the fathers of racing sims on consoles, the designers of gran motherfucking turismo are going to sit back and let their game be bested when they have the time to sit back and fix it is silly. We all know forza 3 pushed GT5 back, be proud of that if you want to be a warrior in your console war kowenicki, but seriously, don't be so silly.  It just looks bad.

They are lost... they benchmark is GT5,sooo... GT5 is the reference, is the best... I think he was naive about doing this comentary.

He was asked how the game stacked up. It isn't like he came out of nowhere with that one. And he gave a nice, non-negative response. In fact, he didn't say one fucking negative thing about GT. In fact he said a POSITIVE about it.

Get a grip GT/PS boys.

Just saw the interview and this guy is ok by me. Nothing like the Director of F3 has been. He wasn't arrogant and he was just answering a question directly asked about GT5. You would expect him to highlight what he thinks, at this stage, Forza 3 has going for it compared to a GT5 he has seen on the floor. I think that's fair enough.

Since GT5 isn't coming out until March, the fact is we don't know the full final feature set and if a was Turn 10, I'd be at lest curious about that, maybe even apprehensive.
