I stopped reading the thread after this post so it may have been addressed. But.....
Turn 10 began the comparisons themselves at E3. They started this comparison game and journalists pressing this issue and rightfully so. PD didnt, journalists didnt, there was Turn 10 biting off more than they could chew.
Its the journalists job to press issues, especially when the developer wants to tout their game in such ways, they should not go unchecked.

forza 2 was AAA in 2007
forza 3 looks AAA and is 2009
GT fans are still waiting. You get more cars but at what price? lifes too short to wait.
and forza 3 beats GT on other thigns like damage, rollover, online options, track number, and car customization

ODST is basically DLC but a big one but that make some magazines give it bad reviews...

That doesn't matter though because Uncharted 2 just smashed KZ2, Halo 3 and Gears.
