Well your right about MS looking better for Q4 with Halo Reach, Fable 3 and probably Gears 3 but PS3 will pretty much dominate Q's 1-3 judging by the list of games you put down. I don't think a lousy Q4 for Sony will cancel out 3 great quarters.

You do realize that neither ICO nor Shadow of the colossus managed to even hit 1 million sold? I highly doubt the last guardian will push console sales.

God of War 3 might and if Agent has even 1/4 of the impact that GTA3 exclusivity had on the PS2 then I agree with it too.

You missed some games. Actually you also missed some 360 games (i think but i don't know which so i'm not gonna mess with that.)

Also Gears 3, Fable 3 and Halo Reach will have no impact on console sales. Sure the same might be true for some of the ps3 games, but you make it seem like those three are really relevent.. When they are infact not.

It makes so much sense to discuss Q4 2010 lineups now, really it does!

It'll be $250 and the only console with Blu-Ray + motion controls. Maybe they have sequels to Twisted Metal, J & D, Sly Cooper, and other well known IP's from the PS1/2 days due by then. Who knows? They'll have stuff planned.

Where did you get your horrible interpretation of the words LARGE PERCENTAGE. Let me see, there are over 130 million PS2 owners and a large percentage bought X360 according to you (horrible logic btw) which would be at least 75% IMO, or I will even let you have 60% to be nice (though you said LARGE percentage). So 60% of PS2 owners would be 79 million. Now of course we would want to use the number of PS2 owners when X360 came out which according to this site was at 110.5 million, thus would be 66.3 million. Now let's take a look at X360 sales currently, oh wait we don't need to because they AREN'T 66.3 million even currently. Ok there goes that theory of yours debunked. To add more though, the sales for XBox original were around what, 25 million or so, so you are saying none of those bought the X360??? I will say that X360 picked up some of the PS2 owners but they also picked up a few new gamers (there are new people hitting the teenage years daily). I am bored with people claiming MS has stolen so much of Sony's part of the pie when there is zero proof at this stage in the generation. The Wii stole from both MS and Sony has more legitimacy even though we still need to wait until the dust settles.

As to the OP you bait your articles then pretend to be neutral. For example, you list the new Gears when it has been rumored by MANY sources that it won't be out this generation. This is 2009 and not all the games for EITHER console that will be out in Q4 2010 have been given release dates yet so you are being beyond premature. Natal isn't a given for Q4 (although I think MS will do whatever it takes to get it out) and you fail to look at Sony's wand (ugly ice cream cone sorry). The fact that Sony's wand set up is closer to completion and it has been mentioned by a lot of press (contrary to another poster acting like the industry only talks about Natal) means none of us know how the Natal vs Ice Cream Cone are going to work out, NONE of us.
