Forums - Sales - PS3 Q4 vs. XBOX360 Q4 = Uphill climb for SONY?

Playstation 3's Heavy Hitters for Quarters 1-3 of 2010:

Gran Turismo 5

M.A.G.

God of War 3

Modnation Racers

White Knight Chronicles

Heavy Rain

The Last Guardian (maybe Q4)

Agent (maybe Q4)

Microsoft's Heavy Hitters for Quarters 1-3 of 2010:

Crackdown 2
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell - Conviction
Mass Effect 2

If Sony hasn't DRASTICALLY closed the gap on Microsoft by September 2010, how will they handle the following in Quarter 4 for Microsoft?:

Gears 3 (maybe)
Fable III
Halo Reach
The Launch of Natal Embedded XBOX360 w/New Games

no1 is going to take notice of you if you keep carrying on with these anti-ps3 threads dynamo

Do you know of any casuals excited or even interested in Sony's motion controller?  There seems to be a lot of interest in Natal by them when they see it in action.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Why are my posts being viewed as "anti-PS3"?

Why can't a mature conversation take place about the two consoles?

I haven't blasted the PS3 once in my two forum posts.

But if I don't heap praise on the PS3, I'm ANTI-PS3?

HUH?

Don't mind them.

Its just your posts are clearly designed with the trolling intent. You're missing games on each system. No one can say what the full q4 lineup will be. You're also talking about CONSOLE sales, not game sales.

Games like Gears and Halo will not push console sales very much, but will provide huge sales for the games.

Games like The last Guardian, God of War 3 and Agent, however DO have the power to push console sales.

These games have no equal on the PS3 and are reasons for people who haven't owned one yet to go over. Gears 3 and Reach will BRING new members, just not a lot.

While it's possible games like The Last Guardian can bring upwards of 150-300,000 new ps3 owners to the console.

Agent, if it turns out to be an amazing game by rockstar, can also bring rockstar fans who only own a 360 over to purchase a PS3.

Its far to early to decide what Q4 2010 will be like honestly. Sony has HUGE sales right now and is on track to outsell the 360 till at least mid 2010 where it might come down a bit to being equal or very close.

If you think Sony has no more games for q4 2010 then I think you're in for a big surprise. Thats holiday season and I would not be surprised to see a new game for sucker punch, a new game from Insomniac and more than likely a huge japanese titles for their winter as well, possibly Final Fantasy Versus 13.
