The "it looks like a DS game" trolls completely miss the point.
It's a 2D game! Obviously, anyone who said that "it looks good", meant that its art, the coloring, and generally the aesthetics are appealing, (in the same way as a DS game, or even a NES game can look good) and not that it is the next Crysis.

I am sorry, but I don't find this game's graphics to be "amazing",I mean they are good and the backgrounds look nice and colorful.
But the game characters and enemies are all just 3d, not hand drawn or anything,I wish they did this game like wario land shake it, that game was a pleasure just to look at.

It is? I read that it was called SMB4? My mistake, but Super Mario World 2 is Yoshi´s Island though right?

Yeah. Well, it's "Super Mario: Yoshi's Island" in Japan. But it's not called Super Mario World 2.
I prefere the art style of super mario bros 3. I'm not much for these graphics.. Anyways it looks fun and frankly.. I'll likely get it at some point. (probably not when it releases though, i'll likely wait for it to drop a bit in price.)
The graphics are pretty bad and the art direction doesn't look inspirational. The graphics in Smash Bros.' emissary mission look better.
Mario Wii looks fun and that's what really matters though.
I love Mario games. AWESOME
Music rocks btw, its ridiculous.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
I guess its one of those games that you'll grow into it, it just seems that its a game u wouldnt wanna sit down watching other people play
