Have you done the math? The PS3 would have to outsell the 360 by over 113k per week for this to happen.

Just listing a bunch of potential factors is not a proper analysis. More like wishful thinking.

So many things can change the final outcome I do think that the Wii's position will remain the same. But the 360 has a few things left up it's sleeve with the release of Natal, Halo Reach, and price flexibility. Sony could close the gap and may even overtake it sooner than many anticipate, however, things can change quickly.

I will remain an interested observer.

I think it can happen but not in 2010. Late 2011 at the earliest. Plus Microsoft can still cut price. It may all depend on how this years holiday goes. I think the PS3 can close the 360 gap to 4 - 4.5 Mill by years end. We just got to wait and see.

as for second place i don 't know ps3 has a lot of games as Gran Turismo 5 as from the previous generations it has shown how powerful factor it was to make people to buy play station on the other hand 360 has NATAL in late 2010 which has become very popular and well accepted by developers in TGS
i don 't care a lot which of the HD twins will end-up second the point is that i love my ps3 and have loads of games
GAMECUBE AND XBOX HAD A LIBRARY PROBLEM BUT PS3 AND 360 have more games than Wii (KING CONSOLE) so no one won 't feel sad as before

After posting 2 new topics I can conclude that as a new member some people just won't accept a new person posting something about sales. I'm not trolling, just trying contribute with my thoughts.... *sighs*

Back on topic again: I didn't take the magic wand and natal into account, which could turn everything around... .or maybe everything stays the same :) So yes, it's like watching into the magic ball and it's probably impossible to say something sensible about it.  

Yeah I guess that's a lot, but I think the PS3 will be selling more than the 360 every week from now on. Even though both the 360 and the PS3 and the 360 had pricecuts hell of a lot more people bought the PS3.

360 already has a lower price model, so it's not opened it's doors to a new audience with it's price cut. It hasn't had a remodel either.

Hey puffy. The ps3 has something like 3 times as many exclusives and a far more diverse portfolio. That will have a big impact over the coming months.
