Forums - PC - L4D2 is $20 cheaper on PC than 360

Pc games will almost always be cheaper as they don't have a middle man like entity (eg the console manufacturer) thats taking a certain percent of the revenue.

Not alone that but if its on steam its even cheaper to distribute again as theres no physical expense in the manufacturing.

Pretty obvious really.

Because having to pick the mouse up and bring it ALL the way back over just to do it again 2 seconds later is gonna get you killed in a fast FPS, when i can easly hold the right joystick and do the same with no effort.

How ever the Mouse is much mroe accurate.

Don't forget to move to Poland too ;)

Not only you will see best chicks in Europe every day but you will also be able to buy new retail pc games for $20-30 equivalent.

Wow Garnett. You couldn't be more wrong. Seriously. Mice these days have incredible sensitivity and track pefectly at really high speeds.

I play Quake Live religiously and it's a lot faster paced than L4D. Speed and accuracy are paramount and the thought of usign a gamepad is actually a little bit frightening.

Controllers on the other hand are not suited at all to twitch games. Ever wonder why there is a 180 degree turn button in L4D? It's because the analogue stick is just too slow.

This is SO much fail.

Let me put it this way. By the time Master Chief turn around in Halo 3, I can go take a piss, cure cancer, and get some lunch before he turns around 180 degrees.

Why do you think UT3 is 30% slower on the PS3 than it is on PC? Why do you think the FPSes got ruined on consoles? Controlelrs can't handle FPSes.

Like others have already pointed out.. fail on you sir.

And "with no effort".. there's really no effort in moving a mouse haha :D If it requires effort in moving a mouse, you're doing it wrong :D

This. I only have to move my mouse 2 inches in each direction for it to make its way from one side of my monitor to the other...

@ Garnett: Look at some fatal1ty playing Quake 4 on youtube and tell me that a mouse is slower/less useful for FPS.

That's because you can steal it much easier. That cheaper price is called an "inventive."

Also, you can't lend it, sell it, trade it, or borrow it on PC.

At the same price, the 360 version would be a much, much better deal. Now it's just slightly better, since the resell value drops fairly quickly, you may only make 60 percent of your money back.

I totally agree, if I had the PC version I wouldn't have been able to trade it in the first one. (and no I didn't trade it in just yet but I am, for Left 4 Dead and GTA4(Paid for 22.99) I am getting Assassin Creed 2 (69.99).

I have to agree that the mouse is much much more accurate. Coming from hardcore pc gaming background and owner of 4 different gaming mice. 1000hz polling rate, windows acceleration disabled and few tweaks= pure win. I get accused for hacking many times. Can't really say ruined when you look at Halo and Call of Duty series on consoles.

Yeah but people will actually play it on Xbox. HAHA I'm j/k. Seriously though Console gaming is so much more fun then PC gaming, in my opinion of course.
