judging by wikipedia numbers and other sources including sony official sales the gap is

The black friday sales have came in finally, and we got a pleasant surprise....the PS3 outsold the 360 WW by almost 300,000! Consumers have a big preference for the PS3, we will easily be down to just 6million difference by the end of the year. Stay tuned.

From a personal perspective why not just call it the never ending thread , I applaud the OP for his ingenius method of collecting vg$.  Lets keep this thread going as long as we can, no need for people to get heavy in here.


Hey, the PS3 is catching up, and keep in mind that consumer sentiment has already shifted to the PS3, given the uberdomination that we've seen for the holidays.

2006 - PS3 is doomed

2007 - 360 is doomed

2008 - PS3 is doomed

2009 - 360 is doomed

2010 - ? is doomed

Follow the pattern there and you'll see why I don't have the universal optimism some have on here.  It's not customer sentiment driving sales higher, its savings on their wallet, thats the only thing thats shifted momentum this generation between the HD consoles imo. 

I don't have an issue with you guys cheering the PS3 onto success though.

All fanboys do buddy. Not just ps3 fanboys.

They all will end up sad when they don't get the cookies they were expecting for them being right.  They get some nice air biscuits, but it is hard to gloat about those.
