The price is going to be a good point in this game. It's only at 20 bucks since launch, so It'll be interesting how a well advertaisent budget title works.

So... does Wii-Fit plus use a different balance board... or the same one but it just has stuff added to it?

Ah Battleship.  That game was sorta ruined by me when i figured out the best mathematical way to play.

Miss in the sense that it won't move HW at all. I see this selling mostly to existing owners and at the same time maintaining the current sales that Wii Fit actually has. In other words, sales will seem huge, but most of them will be from existing owners who are paying 20 bucks for it, sales of the Balance Board bundle should be just the same like for the actual bundle.

In fact, I would consider sales of the balance board bundle to be dropping because it's now more expensive to buy the balance board than it was before.

Of course a hit in overall sales, but not a HW moving game, far from it.

The public loves wii fit. More of it = more win = more profits = hit.

Since it's replacing WiiFit which still sells very strongly it's already guaranteed to be a million + seller (bunlded with bb).

Add in stand alone sales to existing BB owners like me and you've got probably at least another 2-3m. At $20 it's an almost no brainer sale to anyone who even occasionally still uses WiiFit.

I think 5m lifetime is the minimum this title can do and upwards of 10-15m.

But it won't move any hardware (at least none that Wii Fit wasn't already going to move)

It has multiplayer.
However, i'm a little sceptical in its ability to move hardware in the long run, but the multiplayer aspect of the game is likely to reach audience that Wii Fit didn't.
