Forums - Nintendo - Wii Users Who Didn't Buy Oboro_Muramasa (Demon Blade) - You make me sick.

If I had a Wii, I'd probably get Muramasa. On top of my wii wishlist along with No More Heroes 1 + 2, possibly Madworld, some Nintendo IPs (Super Smash Bros. especially), etc. Thing is I don't wanna get a Wii this holiday season because I barely have enough time these days to play on my 360 and DS as is. I don`t want to see a brand new Wii collect dust. Maybe I'll get it next year. Hopefully the Wii isn`t discontinued for awhile. Would hate to pick up the Wii only to hear a Wii HD or Wii 2 announcement a little bit later. I doubt it`ll happen but you never know.

Anywho back to Muramasa. It looks like a cool game but not everyone likes hack n slash or quirky Japanese games. Why should you feel sick that not everyone likes these type of games? We all have different tastes. Just because you don`t like hack n slash animu, it doesn`t mean you are in the Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Fit crowd (not that those games are bad).

i got it, love it. It's not just hack and slash.

Taking a look at your game collection, it seems you didn't buy Little King's Story. You can kindly go STFU, thank you very much.

This man speaks the truth. You didn't buy LKS, so you have no standing to make this thread. End of discussion!

I'll pick it up when I can find it at $20-30 or so. Same with Little King's Story.

Guess who's got some great news for you!

I bought mine day one.  It's a brilliant game, reminds me a lot of the old NES Ninja Gaidens.

I am all for supporting 3rd party esp on Wii when they are as good or in this case IMO better than 1st party.

Will also add to the fact this is one of those games that took a big risk on Wii and if not supported enough in sales you won't see much from them again and Vanilla ware does not make sequels, they take thier time and when released they won't be making to many more runs of copies of the game so it might be a rare game in a few months.

Mario and such 1st party franchises is what you should be waiting on for prices to come down as they will always sell and always make a ton more of them.

If Muramasa is not your taste then fine but I am tired of Wii fans whining about support for more 3rd party but when you get it,you spout BS like "I will wait till the price drops" That is why 3rd parties struggle on Nintendo systems past couple consoles and stop making worthwhile games and just put out mostly shovelware or just abandon the platform all together.

Ha, is it down to that price? Well, I won't have access to my Wii until ~7 weeks from now, so there's my next excuse... (though honestly I'll probably have it shipped here sooner, so maybe not).

No, thank you!

And no because its an old game dressed like something new.

Maybe its good, but sorry. I bought the wii for the motion controls.

That´s why im waiting for Red Steel 2, and some wii fit plus in the meantime.

I will buy it, when I have money, food and shelter is more important :P

Owned haha.

Just bought the game.

See, what irks me regarding the relatively poor sales of this game (and many like it) is that the sole reason for its lack of sales always gets pinned on the fault of the Wii and its "casual" focus. There are tons of "hardcore" games like this on 360 and PS3, PS2, etc that have failed yet most people just seemed to shrug that off as being the norm for some games. But for Wii its always "Teh CASUALZ!"
