Well, it's barely confirmed yet, because ToV is still riding high bringing in more ps3 buyers, but looking at the sales the past couple weeks, ps3 is settling into a spot way above what it normally sells. I guess Patcher was right!

Interesting it is. It seems to be settling up in NA and others too.
Last week the falloff was pretty minimal.

I want to see what the wii does next week & what the ps3 does

that will be minimal darth. As we all now know, wii is already in the sweet spot :P

I mean these sales are so surprising & make me very happy (as sad as that may sound).....its almost unbelievable in a way.

You've got to wait more than 4 weeks worth of sales to claim it is "settling" Expect hardware to fall further as even the Wii had 2 weeks at 46k in back to back weeks which is "unusual" for the Wii.

I'm not claiming it is going to plumet, but I'm not expecting continual 40-50k sales for the PS3 3-4 months from now.

Hey, they should make you happy.
More consoles sold means more developer interest, spawning higher sales, and more developer interest.
It's a win spiral.

All I'm saying is don't set your expectations so high just to have them dashed to peices when it turns out the PS3 isn't really dominating anything. While I expect a boost from the pricecut, I don't expect a settling point 5 times higher than before. If the Wii setteled 5x higher than before should we expect it to sell 100k in Japan
