Unless it is a major improvement on the core game I wouldn't even consider it if I had a 360. Unless it is priced very cheap? And I guess I'm a PS3 fanboy because I wont pay €199 for DLC haha.

Did you play Lost and the Damned? That thing rocked. It was actually better and much, much more polished than the core game. That said, it's gonna sell pretty well.

From the shotgun you can use on the motorcycle to the new cars and other weapons, it's a definite improvement.

@ Squall - it's a choice, plain and simple. It's an awesome game, and the episodes really, really outshine the core game. And since MS did pay for the extra content, I doubt you'll see it anytime soon on the PC or the PS3.

Oh that sounds better somewhat at least. I just couldn't get into GTA4. Loved all the ones on PS2. Saints Row 2 kind of replaced them this gen though. I think I just want a game where I can go crazy and not go for realism. Would love to give this a try but only know one person with a 360 and he has GTA4 for PS3. He's not into DLC.

We're talking about the retail version of "Episodes from Liberty City" here. You don't even need GTA IV to play it.

I think that 1 million is pushing it TBH. The game released a long time ago and most people have moved on.

You say it'll reach 2 million copies sold by the end of 2009. Are you willing to take a bet?

The retail disc is BOTH episodes, which means it's not old. Yes, Lost and Damned is "old", but Gay Tony is not and they're coming out on the same day. There are also millions of people who aren't on live who never played or even knew about Lost and Damned. This release is pretty much two new GTA games. Both episodes are pretty damn long. 5-6 hours campaign each. And from I what understand it's just $29.

Ok I am really misinformed about this. I thought it was just the DLC for GTA:IV but on a disk rather than download? So does it have it's own storyline? I would nearly get this and borrow my friends 360. Did the same thing for most exclusives haha.

Im getting a copy, almost all my friends, that some hehe, are buying this disc with two epic games.

Hm. First week WW, maybe, ehm, well, 1.4-1.9 M.

Yes, a stand alone disc with both episodes. Completely new stories. That's why I think this is the potential system seller 360 has this year. If I was a big GTA fan and didn't have a 360 I would definitely buy a 199 arcade for this one at least.

Now I want a 360 again. But it seems like a lot of money when I don't game too much anymore. I would also get an elite if I was gonna get one since I would want a hard drive. And a black console so it would fit into my entertainment center rather than sticking out like a white one.

perhaps a million.

2 million would be ALOT, but I'd expect it to do over 1 million in it's first month, and maybe 2 million by next spring...which would be a massive number for a game released so long ago.

hmmm. I'm expecting that a lot of people will just buy the 2nd episode via XBOX Live, because those who are really interested in the add-ons already own The Lost and Dammed and it surely doesn't make sense for every single one of them to buy the complete package, when they already own the first part and aren't able to sell it.
On the other hand. There will be many people (including me) who didn't get the 1st episode and are going to buy the retail disc.
