That's a very good point raised my friend. Let's break it down....
GTA4 is nowhere near the same quality as Uncharted 2. Gta4 has been considered by many gamers to be a dissapointment hurting its legs.
COD4 is very similar to uncharted an absolute quality game with great mp on top. COD4 sales are at 4.59, cod4 launched on much smaller userbase. Uncharted 2 has the reviews and fan base of uncharted drakes fortune to see this game sell over 5m+
I really believe this game will sell 5m+

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Who , exactly is buying these 5 million + copies?
Quality of game only takes you so far. You need a heavy marketing campaign, well established brand name, or some combination of the two to see larger than life sales. There is no way that you can say "this game is perfect, thus it must sell", because there are plenty of other top notch games that did not see the numbers it deserved. In eastern culture, those brand names are Dragon Quest, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, and possibly Monster Hunter. The Persona games, which are regarded now as some of the best RPG's to be released, don't even sell as well as they should.
In the West, the brand names that dominate are Metal Gear, GT, Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Madden, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, and a smattering of others. The point is, that these games can push out millions of copies based strictly on name, without much advertising at all.
The problem with Uncharted, is twofold
1) The first game had a somewhat limited following. It's sales numbers are nothing to sneeze at, of course, but it definitely appealed to a specific audience of gamer.
2) There's no advertising for it, at all.
We all cite Metacritic and Eurogamer as the bible here on VGCHARTZ, but in the real world, that doesn't happen at all. Consumers base their purchases on word of mouth, flashy ads, brand name, what their friends are playing online, etc etc.
So i'll ask again. Where, exactly are these buyers going to come from? The best exclusive on the PS3 is steadily approaching 5 million copies, and it's been out for a long time. And it's Metal Gear.
I'm all for this game doing well, but you really need to take a breath and see what happens.
