Tomorrow is a rather big day for releases in Japan. It's time to predict sales for the First Day and First Week.

Contenders:

Wii Fit+ + Balance Board Bundle [Wii]
Wii Fit+ [Wii]

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 [PS3]
Dinasty Warriors Multiraid Special [PS3]
Trinity Universe [PS3]

Gran Turismo Portable + PSP Console Bundle [PSP]
Gran Turismo Portable [PSP]
Macross: Ultimate Frontier [PSP]
Mana Khemia 2 [PSP]
Winning Post 7 2009 [PSP]

Inazuma eleven 2 Fire/Blizzard [DSi]

Dinasty Warriors Multiraid Special[360]
Cross Edge Dash [360]


Note: There are several other games like MySims Agents, Dead Space Extraction, Adventure games for the PSP and PS2 that I don't count because we know they won't sell. Unless those PS2 adventure games are big, which I doubt.

Well, I don't think any of the games will start too big. I expect a slow, but steady start to Wii Fit+. It'll sell great over the holiday though.

I just hope Trinity Universe beats out Cross Edge and Agarest Senki lifetime.

Wii Fit plus, 95-100% of every unit they ship in the first week



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Looking at it. You're right. DW and Macross will do ok. I'm expecting 500k for Wii Fit+ which I think may be a bit modest.

yeah 125-175k+ for Wii fit+ sounds about right, unless the price is very appealing to consumers, but we'll see about that

 

Ninja gaiden 50-75k? no idea

How many Dynasty warriors are there :S another 200k seller?
