Amazon is giving a $25 dollar gift card right now with a wii purchase which is a pretty good deal.

Damn, if only the black wii's would come, and I will have my second Wii.
Amazon is offering a similar deal. Wii + $25 gift certificate effectively makes the Wii $175.99 if you want to look at it that way ($25 off a second controller or game).
Wii + extra Wiimote + nunchaku = $174.99 + $39.99 + $19.99 on this site
Wii + extra Wiimote + nunchaku = $199.99 + $34.99 + $16.99 - $25 gift card via Amazon
Actually in the end I think Amazon's deal is somewhat cheaper because you save a few bucks off the accessorie MSRPs.

There is nothing that says that the retailers have to sell a console at MSRP, but being that they mostly buy them for just below MSRP it makes little sense to put them on sale. From my understanding, Dell is trying to build their electronics sales division and are (on occassion) selling products at a loss to act like a marketing campaign; and to draw traffic to their site when they offer "Days of Deals" or other sales. I can honestly say that does work because I bought my TV from Dell when it was (massively) marked down and (as a result) I'm always checking out their sales to see if there is anything that interests me.

The rEVOLution is not being televised
Went to my local Toys r us. A couple of things I want to share. First an older couple bought a Wii, not sure if was for them or for grandkids. I asked the clerk how sales were and he told me that they were selling very well. It seems that this holiday could be huge for the Nintendo and the wii. What do you guys think.
