How did Sony fuck up though? They are clearly targeting a different type of customer than they are with the -3000, which is why they will have both on the market and we are hearing about an upgrade for the -3000 model to the -4000 model. They are still going to sell UMDs.

Like I said, everyone always used to act like Digital Distribution was the way to go, physical media will die out, blah blah blah. Now we finally have one of the big 3 growing a pair of balls big enough to see if something like this could even work in the gaming industry.

Give them a little credit and support instead of whining like a bunch of spoiled children. Don't like it? Shut up and just get a -3000. Many of you seemed to have expected and supported something like this last year, so try sticking with it.

i totally agree with IGN here about its value plus its digital only made me go with the dsi and the dsi had cameras and music and better browser..sony come on stepp up your game...Nintendo stay where you are cause you can't possibly step it up any higher as you are at the top although i wish you actually step up in your online section...come on give us a virtual world channel where you can have fake homes and everything and its just like reality and you can go to the bar, the theatre or even go to the nintendo world and play some classic games there to earn dollars. then you can have a job and stuff...come on i wish i was their online head so i could make awesome channels and stuff....... way off topic sorry

they should drop the price to $199 and maybe it would have a chance to be a success.

No. Because some things don't make sense. Like why is the PSPgo more expensive than both Xbox and Wii? Why did Sony release a successor to the PSP when the PSP is no where near dead yet? An it being a successor to the PSP why can it not play PSP games? Do they expect PSP owners to buy a PSPgo or are they looking for new customers (casuals maybe?). Does Sony really believe the PSP3000 and PSPgo can sell in the same market without competing with each other? Think about it. Whoever has or buys a PSP3000 is probably not going to fork up another $250 or so to buy a PSPgo or vice verca.
