Cricket is much more tactical than baseball.
But then again cricket is more tactical than pretty much any other sport in the world.
You could view that complexity as a good or a bad thing I guess, personally I love it.

Well I think that original question was which flies off the bat faster? I'd say cricket. And I base that on absolutely nothing.
Here's the way I see it.
1. Both sports are mindnumbingly boring to watch.
2. Regarding Cricket, I can't watch any sport that requires a 40 hour work week to keep up with because of it's vast size. Baseball has a ridiculous amount of games and is also hard at times to keep up with, but having only 30 teams helps.

So if both balls are travelling at roughly the same speed, the cricketer has less time to react.

But cricketer also gets a bounce to help him.

Yes the bounce takes pace off the ball. However, a full toss would not have that assistance to slow down the ball. Is it possible that the design of the ball has an impact? Baseballs have that kinda tennis ball design, but cricket has one seam going around the max circumference.
