Looking through the data I keep track of I noticed:
360 hardware sales have hit 4.0 million units in 2007 for the week ending Oct 13, 2007 - with 11 weeks left in the year.
360 sales in 2007 - for the first time since the European PS3 launch - overtook PS3 sales in 2007 on the week ending September 30, 2007 (Halo 3 week)
In other news, PS3 looks to be about 2-3 weeks away from selling 4.0 million units in 2007, while Wii seems to be about 2-3 weeks away from selling 10.0 million units in 2007.
If current average weekly rates for all of 2007 - for each of the consoles were to continue (unaffected by price, big games, supply, etc), Wii would reach 15.0 million units by the end of 07', 360 would reach 13.0 million units by the end of 2007, and PS3 would reach 6.0 million units by the end of 07'.
Optimistically - but realistically each console is probably capable of exceeding those minimal goals by 30% (7.8 million, 15.9 million, 19.5 million), although I personally expect 7.5 million/14.5 million/19 million.
