That's a great article. I completely agree with it and believe those are the main mechanics behind true homosexuality (while some bi-sexual behaviour we see in our society today could also be influenced by social factors).

A homosexual act is still a sin in God's eyes.

So god made people fall in love with people of their own sex and then made it an offense to have sex with somebody of your own sex?

Man, God has a fucked up sense of humour.

When God created mankind he chose not to interfere with mankind's free-will, he will let you do what you want. However, some people choose to love a member of the same sex with their free will, but some say that god put you here to procreate. That's where this whole situation gets really messy.

Read his post, he's saying that you don't choose to be homosexual. But God will smite you for it anyway, even though he made you like that.

Not necessarily. There's a difference between wanting to do something and actually doing it.

From a Christian perspective it's obvious that people are born with different traits and conditions that affect their struggle of not commiting sins in this life. This planet, the creation, is full of imperfection (cause of Adam's original sin). A person may be born with a craving for drugs, an aggressive personality, or a craving for children, or wanting to have sex with lots of women, or other men etc. Everyone has their battle in this life, and their struggle to walk on the right path. God will judge everyone according to their premises, justly.

You know thats not true right? Even religious people admit it.

How do you know it's not true?

I'm pretty sure it's Blanchard's "fraternal birth order effect" that happens in the womb, but I don't really care why they're here. All that matters is that they are here, so we should just shut up and accept them already, even if they do have disgustingly long penises and ring fingers.

The same way I know bambi wasnt true, at least in real life, it exist in the book. Even the pope said it was just a story, how were the ancients guys who wrote the bible going to know about the creation or what adam and eve did?

I thought Adam and Eve wasn't supposed to be a literal account of the creation of humans. I thought that many Christians use it as more of a metaphor, don't they?

Some see it as a metaphor for original sin, which we should be ashamed of and repent for, some see it as a metaphor for why we blame all our problems on women, and some see it as a literal account of the creation of humanity exactly as it happened word for word, even though the story is told twice back to back with several huge inconsistencies.  I've heard all these theories.

I see a lot of non-gay people having a very strong opinion on the subject....

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Obviously theres no gay gene. Its how your brought up, not your DNA. If theres lots of hot women at your school you'll turn out straight. If you go to an all male bording school you'll probably become gay.

Well OBVIOUSLY. Your logic has no flaws whatsoever. I guess we should listen to YOU instead of the scientist in the OP. You're so cunning and intuitive.

While obviously you should trust the scientist over Coolestguy, there is not a 100 percent guarantee he is right...

There's no need for language like that
