From a Christian perspective it's obvious that people are born with different traits and conditions that affect their struggle of not commiting sins in this life. This planet, the creation, is full of imperfection (cause of Adam's original sin). A person may be born with a craving for drugs, an aggressive personality, or a craving for children, or wanting to have sex with lots of women, or other men etc. Everyone has their battle in this life, and their struggle to walk on the right path. God will judge everyone according to their premises, justly.

I thought Adam and Eve wasn't supposed to be a literal account of the creation of humans. I thought that many Christians use it as more of a metaphor, don't they?
