Forums - Microsoft - Facebook/Twitter Coming November 2009.

Forgot to add.

Twitter is easy to understand, it is just short little things you write from time to time.

Facebook though, I just see so many reasons as to why it is stupid on a 360, unless of course you have Facebook Apps + Keyboard/Mouse support.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Who are these updates geared for? I am guessing these features will be mainly for those of us who are just lazy. Don't have time to fire up the laptop after a gaming session? Just point your 360 that way to check some of your updates.

My wife will love the last.fm thing but I will probably never use any of that stuff. I am happy they decided to include it though. I just wish they would get off their arse and add hulu support. Thats what I was wanting.

Well, there will most likely be an integration with Live for the Facebook and Twitter applications. Not sure what these will be, but it could be leaderboards, pictures, achievement postings, videos, where you are in your game, etc. All the things someone expects from a social networking application and the 360 will provide a gaming slant to that networking.

Im more interested in the type of interface it will offer than the actual feature, I can go on twitter/facebook on my computer or even my ps3..

leo wat brings you to the 360 forum?

Leo can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure he's a 360 owner, so what's up with the grief you are trying to give him?

On topic, I use both Facebook and Twitter to follow people (virtual stalking FTW!!), but don't really post.  For me, this is a cool perk, but not something I would argue was integral to the 360 experience.  That being said, I'm always interested in how MS will expand the 360 functionality...while this one may not be all that important to me others (netflix) have!

Just me a damn web browser MS,Quit dragging your ass!

This is Microsoft's way of trying to have a social network fanbase for the Xbox 360.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

I'd use Twitter to post a message if anyone wants to play. It can be usefull

i suppose thats cool but i probably wont be using it much and i wont use twitter at all

Long Live SHIO!

The Xbox has always supported a USB keyboard.  You can also use the keyboard controller attachment or in my case I use a wireless USB full sized keyboard.

Can somebody explain all the excitement for mytwitterfacebook. I don't get why people love using it so much. When i get on one of these profiles all i see are annoying ads, annoying music, kiss ass friends and the most mundane topics or thoughts. I guess i dont get it.
