It's worth remembering that Prologue has sold about 4 million copies (inc. downloads).

For a taster to do that much is very impressive. I will expect big legs from GT5.

8-11, but even 11 seems very very hard without bundling. i expect 1.5-2.5 in NA, 3-5 in EU, 1 in Japan

ioi please post more, seriously its like all you do is post sales data, although we like that, it would be nice to get more of your opinions on games, and ofcourse more data analyzes through forum posts.

Another thing, if Halo 2 was able to sell around 10 mln. on much smaller userbase than PS3(will be), why GT5 won`t be able to do that? Especially, when GT5 has much more improvement(mostly online mode) over GT3/GT4. :)
And games like Halo or GT are not games like Madden, which come every year. They usually come once in 3-4 years, and have looong legs.

I don`t speak about 20 mln., but i think 15 mln. LTD could be real.
10 mln. is definitely.

PS3 probably will be around 30 mln. by the end of this year.
2010 - 40 mln.
2011 - 50 mln.
2012 - 60 mln.
That if PS3 continue to sell not more, than 10 mln. per year. Yet, there will be still 199$ price somewhere at that point.
15mln. is only 25% of 60 mln. userbase, and why not? When GT is the strongest PS franchise and overall it looks like to be a VERY great game.

To be completely honest, I will be EXTREMELY surprised if Gran Turismo 5 manages to sell 10 million copies. If it does so, it will be the first and only PS3 exclusive to EVER do so.

My prediction sits somewhere between 5-8 million LTD. Looking at some of the predictions in this thread makes me laugh. Over 15 million? Seriously, people are expecting this to be the best selling GT game ever? I mean, I'd love to see a day when a franchise like GT reaches new sales heights, but I don't think it's happening anytime soon.
